Lorde has released a follow-up to her debut hit "Royals." On Tuesday, the 17-year-old posted a video for her second single called "Team."
The new track is an homage to young people, and its video is made up entirely of teenage actors. Lorde sings about being "kind of over getting told to throw [her] hands up in the air."
In the clip, she plays the queen of an adult-free society. Lorde writes in a Facebook post that the visuals for the new video were based on a dream she had about this type of teenage utopia, where "tests didn't need to be passed in order to be allowed in."
The new single comes off her debut album Pure Heroine, which has already sold 413,000 copies in the U.S. since coming out in September.
Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines" is not only 2013's official "Billboard" Song of the Summer, it's also the year's most-tagged song on smartphone app Shazam.
The app, which allows users to identify song titles with its music-recognition technology, has released a list of the most frequently searched-for tracks. The list corresponds with success on the charts, as "Blurred Lines" still leads with the most consecutive weeks at number one on the Hot 100.
17.8 million Shazam users around the world tapped on the app when listening to "Blurred Lines" this year. The runner-up is Avicii's "Wake Me Up," followed by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis' "Thrift Shop" and "Can't Hold Us."
Other popular songs searched for on the app include current Hot 100 topper "Royals" by Lorde and Pink's "Just Give Me a Reason."
The Japanese have their own way of advertising, and this creepy commercial is hopefully going to get them some sales.
Then again...maybe not.
Jay Z and Beyoncé are going vegan.
In a statement on his "Life and Times" website, Jay writes that he and Bey embarking on a 22 day challenge to eat only "plant-based" foodstuffs.
Apparently, he was encouraged to take up the diet by a friend who started Jay on a "plant-based breakfast" several months ago.
Jay promises to keep fans updated on his progress and also asks for recommendation for "any great food spots" that might make the challenge easier.
