These were little kids...with their whole lives ahead of them. Why?

I'm born and raised in Connecticut. Prior to radio I worked numerous jobs in the Monroe/Newtown area. I'm not sure what I'm even really trying to say here...this didn't hit too close to home, it is home. I'm just devastated from this...I don't understand. My prayers go out to everyone who has lost a loved one today. I'm so, so, so sorry.

And in the words of my Mother, "There are no words of comfort. These people probably have their holiday shopping done...they were preparing to celebrate with the family members that were taken from them, some of them children. How do you offer comfort for something like this?"
